An effective Oily Skin Care Tips
First of all, you need to identify which type of skin you have. Usually, oily skin is
shiny and has pores. It is flat to blackheads and acne as the oil producing glands
are very much active and produce more oil. People, having an oily skin get a
frequent breakout and have a greasy appearance. Though an oily skin requires
special care to be taken, it tends to age slower.

 Don’t use talcum powder on the face, as it gets accumulated in skin pores
and creates more breaks -out.
 Keep your body hydrated by drinking at least 6 to 8 glasses of water per
day.
 Use only water based cosmetics or oil-free products only.
 Soak neem leaves for 5 hours in the water, then remove the leaves and
have a bath with that water to avoid acne and pimples. Neem leaves are

 Gram Pulse Flour:
Besan or Green Pulse Flour is the best for oily skin as it pulls out
excessive oil from the skin. A mixture of Besan with rose water is a
good combination for an oily skin.
 Mix equal quantity of oatmeal with witch hazel and apply it to face.
Keep it for 20 minutes and then wash it with warm water.
 Mix few drops of lemon juice in a little honey and egg white and
apply on face and neck. Keep it for 15 minutes and then wash.
 Mix rose water, sandalwood paste and clay and prepare a face pack.
Rose water cleans and tones the skin. Sandalwood paste cools the
skin and fuller’s earth (Clay) pulls out excessive dirt and oil.
 Mix cucumber pulp in lemon juice and apply on face and neck.
Cucumber works as a natural toner and lemon juice works as an
astringent and cleanses the skin.
