2. The monkey loved to go to the island. He would hop to a rock in the middle of the river and then jumped over to the island.

3. “ I am a happy, happy Monkey! I can eat fruits when I am hungry.”

4. The Monkey knew that fruits have vitamin C and are good for health.

5. The Crocodile’s wife was very greedy. She wanted to eat the monkey.

6. The Crocodile and his wife planned to trick the monkey and catch him for their dinner.

7. Before crossing the river on his return from the Island of Fruits, the Clever Monkey became suspicious.

8. The Monkey was cautious. He had to check things out. The stupid Crocodile did not think.

9. The stupid Crocodile fell for the clever Monkey’s trick.

10. The Clever monkey thought carefully . He had to find a way to go home.

11. The Clever Monkey fooled the Stupid Crocodile into believing something .

12. The Monkey carried out bravely his plan to trick the Crocodile.

13. The Crocodile was tricked by the Clever Monkey. The Monkey reached his home safely.

14. By his clear and clever thinking, the Monkey was able to escape from danger.
