1. I added an original photo to
my contents page. I am
happy with how the photo
looks. I like how the front
cover image and this image
juxtapose each other

2. I changed the brightness
and contrast of the photo
to enhance the colours.
This makes the colours
look more vibrant and
helps them stand out.
The original image was
quite dull. Using this tool
on Photoshop allowed
me to correct this.

3. I added an image of myself to the
‘Editors note’. This helps the
magazine look more professional
as this is seen regularly on
magazines. I made the image
black and white so it blended
well with the grey and black
theme.

4. I used the scale tool to change the
shape of my images. By holding down
the shift key, it allowed me to keep the
image in proportion and move each
side equally.

5. I changed the contrast and
brightness of the image to
enhance the colours.

6. I then decided to change the image to
see which I preferred. I think the last
photo was to similar to the other one so I
added an image from a different
location.

7. I added a white box behind the writing in
the photos. This allowed the writing to be
read easily and also makes it look more
professional as this is commonly used within
magazines.

8. I changed the levels of my image. This
enhanced the whiteness within the image to
brighten it up and to not make it look to
dark in comparison to the other image.

9. I did the same to the other image but
I wanted to make this image darker
to make both the images look similar
in brightness and colour.
