Complete outages aren’t regular occurrences, at least they shouldn’t be.
You should be aware of the impact caused by unscheduled outages, and how it affects you financially, but there is a much more costly waste of time that most people are not paying attention to.
TrackVia did a 300 person opt-in survey and the results showed that after social media, computer related issues are considered the highest waste of time in the work place. TrackVia found that, on average, 11 percent of the work day is consumed by employees trying to solve their own technology problems.
