2. In this presentation I will discuss some fantastic
vocabulary which can be used in many tasks and it
will raise your vocabulary ( lexical resources) score
well above 7.
These words and sentences I have used in my exams
and they gave me excellent support.
I will not translate these words; because if you
translate them, you will get maximum benefits.
You should use them daily so as to be familiar with
them.
There are many other words, however, these words I
will discuss are an excellent base.
3. Important symbols
•These are symbols used in front of some words and have
fundamental meanings.
N = noun.
V = verb.
Adj = adjective.
Adv = adverb.
U = uncountable noun which means that this word used only in a
single form and can not be preceded by ( a ).
C = countable noun.
S = singular which means that this word is only used in the singular
form.
= means synonyms.
X = antonyms.
4. I will write a word or an expression then I will
illustrate how they are used.
In addition, I will write synonyms and collocation of
each word if possible.
Collocations are extremely important, they show
how words are used properly. For example, the
word crime. We can not say do a crime. But we can
say carry out a crime or commit a crime. This is
what I mean.
I will write simple examples on how to use these
words, however, you can use them with more
complex structures.
