INT. JENNY’S CAR. DAY
Sitting in the back seat of the car is 22 year old Jenny who
is putting on her seat belt. She looks slightly brain dead
and uninterested. She is wearing a black blazer, she has
long, dark hair, and a grey scarf.
JENNY’S DAD:
Good girl Jenny.
TITLE. SPLIT SCREEN. INT. BOTH CARS. DAY
The 2 cars switch their engines on with Josh and Jenny
sitting in the back of their cars with their seat belts on.
Jenny is looking through her bag for her lipstick. Josh is
playing on his Nintendo and has animal biscuits.
INT. JENNY’S CAR. DAY
Jenny’s dad who has dark brown hair, wears glasses and is
wearing a grey blazer turns around to talk to Jenny.
JENNY’S DAD:
Big day you got.
Sitting in the back of the car is Jenny who does not say
anything in response to her dad but shows a small smile.
JENNY’S DAD:
Did you clean your teeth this
morning? Have you got everything
you need for the interview? You
need to get this job!
Jenny just stares blankly at her dad.
EXT. JENNY’S CAR. DAY

INT. JOSH’S CAR. DAY
Josh’s mum who has blonde hair, is wearing a cashmere jumper
and has brown eyes stops at a set of traffic lights and
turns around to talk to Josh.
JOSH’S MUM:
Please be nice to your therapist
today. She is only trying to help
you.
JOSH:
What are you talking about mum, I’m
always...
Josh looks up and points out of the window towards the
traffic lights.
FUCK, go!!The traffic light is
green!
Josh’s mum turns around and drives off as she is shaking her
from head side to side.
SPLIT SCREEN. INT. JOSH AND JENNY CAR. DAY
Both cars go over a bump at the same time and Josh and Jenny
both hit their heads against the roof of the car.
AT THE CAR PARK.
Josh and Jenny’s cars come to a stop next to each other in
the car park and both parents open their doors at the same
time and step out of the car.
Josh’s mum looks over to Jenny’s dad and smiles.
Jenny’s dad looks over to Josh’s mum and smiles.
Both parents open the passenger doors for Josh and Jenny,
they unlock the child safety locks.
Josh and his dad walk to the right, past Jenny’s car and
Jenny and her mum walk to the left, past Josh’s car.
Josh stops just after he has walked past Jenny and looks
over his shoulder to see Jenny again. His mum carries on
walking.
Jenny stops just after she has walked past Josh and looks
over her should to see Josh again. Her dad carries on
walking. Both of their eyes meet each other.
