4. A. RESPONSIBLE PARENTHOOD
AND REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH ACT
(R.A. No. 10354)
 The Republic Act No. 10354 is also
known as responsible parenthood and
Reproductive Health Act of 2012 or
simply the Reproductive Health (RH)
Law.

6. B. The tobacco Regulation Act of
2003 ( R.A No. 9211)
 The Republic Act No. 9211 is also known as
the tobacco Regulation Act of 2003 aims to
prohibit smoking in all public places which
includes the following:
• Mall , schools and parks
• Elevators and stairways
• Hospitals, Clinic health centers, nursing homes
and laboratories.
• Airports, ship, train and bus terminals and
restaurants

7.  The stores involved in selling tobacco
products must post notice that states;
‘‘ SALE DISTRIBUTION TO OUR PURCHASE BY
MINORS OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS IS
UNLAWFUL’’ or
 ‘‘IT IS UNLAWFUL FOR TOBACCO PRODUCTS
TO BE SOLD/ DISTRIBUTED TO OR
PURCHASED BY PERSON UNDER 18 YEARS OF
AGE’’

8. C. The Comprehensive Dangerous
Drugs Act 2002 ( R.A No. 9165)
 The Republic Act No 9165, known as the
comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002,
replaced the Republic Act 6425 or Dangerous
Drugs Act of 1972.

 PDEA ( Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency)

9. D. The Consumer Act of the
Philippines ( R. A. No. 7394)
• The Republic Act No. 7394 or the Consumer
Act of the Philippines aims to protect the
consumer’s interest, promote the general
welfare and establish standards for business
and industry. Specifically, the policy aims to
achieve the following goals.
 Protection against hazard to health and safety
 Protection against deceptive and unfair sales
acts and practices.

better choices to properly exercise the right by
consumer.
 Provide adequate rights and means of
restoring damages.
 Involvement of consumer representatives in
the formulation of social and economic
policies.

11. E. The National Environment
Awareness and Education Act
( R.A. No. 95120)
 The Republic Act No. 9512 or the Environmental
and Education Awareness act’s main Objective is
to increase awareness of everyone in the
prevention of the environment.
 Environmental Education will be included in the
curriculum of both public and private sector such
as barangay daycare, preschool youth program.

12. F. The Traditional and Alternative
Medicine Act of 1997 ( R. A. No.
8423)
• The Republic Act No. 8423 is known as the
traditional and alternative Medicine Act or
TAMA OF 1997.
• Aims of enhancing the development and
provision of traditional and alternative health
care country.

13. G. The Philippine AIDS Prevention
Control Act of 1998 ( R.A. No. 8504)
 The Republic Act No. 8504 or the Philippine
AIDS Prevention and Control Act of 1998
promulgated policies and measures in the
prevention and control of HIV/ AIDS in the
country. Likewise, the law established a
comprehensive monitoring system and
nationwide campaign through information
dissemination and various educational
programs.

14. H. The National Blood Service
Act of 1994 ( R.A. No. 7719)
 The Republic Act No.7719 known as the
National Blood Services Act of 1994 promotes
the voluntary donation to provide an
adequate supply of safe blood. The law
likewise regulates blood banks and provides
penalties excessive charging of fees and
operating without permit or license to do so.

15. L. The seat Belt Use Act of 1999
( R.A. No. 8750)
 The Republic Act No. 8750 or the
seatbelt Use Act of 1999 requires the
mandatory compliance of both public
and private drivers and passenger to use
seat belt. It also requires all
manufacturers to install seat belt devices
in all their vehicle products.

16. J. The cybercrime Prevention Act
of 2012 ( R.A. No. 10175)
 The Republic Act No. 10175 Cybercrime
Prevention Act 2012. It Defines cybercrime,
elaborate its forms, provides guidelines for
prevention and control the process of
investigation as well as the penalties
associated with those acts that would qualify
under it.

17. K. The Anti-Child Pornography
Act of 2009 ( R.A. No. 9775)
 The Republic Act No. 9775 is known as
the Anti-Child Pornography Act of 2009.
It defines the Crime of child pornography
and the corresponding penalties on the
said act.
