Maria Abrahamyan is a 14-year-old 9th grade student in Armenia who attends Mkhitar Sebastatsi Educational Complex. She has always tried to study all subjects well and has been at the school since 2013, where she loves the teachers and school atmosphere. Her elective subjects of drawing, photographing, and now graphic design are related to her planned future career in architecture. Her abilities in visual thinking and exemplary student status match this career path. She has participated in educational exhibitions of graphic design and other areas that relate to future professions. Maria enjoys swimming and has won competitions, showing her skills have improved over four years of the hobby. She also studies English to support a good career requiring English proficiency

2. About me
I’m Maria Abrahamyan. I’m 14 years old. I study at Mkhitar Sebastatsi
Educational Complex. I’m in the 9th grade. I have always been trying to study
all the subjects very well. I have been studying at my school educational
complex since 2013. I like my school very much, I love my teachers too,
because they are so understanding, patient and kind to us. They did their best
to give us much knowledge, mastering computer skills and habits. I love our
school atmosphere and society and I wouldn’t like to change my school,
because it is the best home of mine.

3. How are my elective subjects related to my
future career?
My elective subject is related to my future career because when I was in the
6th grade, I chose drawing. But when I was in the 7th grade, I changed my
elective subject and chose photographing. In the 8th grade I didn’t change
my elective subject it stayed the same. And these term I chose graphic
design. In the nearest future I shall become an architecture.

4. Do my abilities, character traits, and hobbies match
my future career?
I think my abilities, character traits, and hobbies match with my
future career, because I see everything in the right way, I’m a
straight thinker and see everything directly. I’m also an exemplary
student. I shall do my best to become a demanded architecture.

5. What educational projects and research activities have I
carried out that may be related to my future profession?
I want to tell about my exhibition which took place within a week. I was
much impressed by that exhibition, because it was the first time I had
presented my work in the sphere of graphic design. I had made stickers
and logos. It wasn’t my first exhibition. I had many exhibitions during my
educational years in different spheres.

6. What books and articles have I read that really meet
my interests?
I have read many books, but they are out of my interest. While reading I
came across to many aphorisms which are related to my interests and
character traits. I’m fond of the aphorisms of Steave Jobs for example: It
is necessary to work not 12 hours a day, but with your head.

7. Have the meetings with the invited specialists at the
educational complex played any role in my professional
orientation?
There have been many meeting with the invited specialists at our
educational complex. The last meeting in which I participated it was
about miniature painting. I was much impressed by that meeting
because I was interested in that style of drawing and used that style.

8. Where will I continue my education after leaving the 9th
grade?
Maybe I will continue my education at National University of
Architecture and Construction. Where I shall study at collage
or high school, I can’t say it properly.

9. My hobbies
I have been going in for swimming for 4 years. I became a skilled swimmer. I
wasn’t so practiced and couldn’t win for the first time. But 6 months later I
became more practiced and won the second place. Some years later I
participated in the swimming competition in which I competed with
professional swimmers and won the second place. It was a great success
for me because I did my best to achieve that result. In 2020-2021 years I
won the first prize and I felt myself confident and happy. And now I’m proud
of my result.

10. My hobbies
Besides swimming I have gone in for English studies for a long time.
Besides computer skills I have developed my English oral speech and
grammar. I think I shall still continue my self-education of English, I want to
know it better because I know if I want to have a good career and a good
profession I should know and master English very well.
