I just lost my job and tried to apply for forbearance at Sallie Mae because defe
erment is not available for this type of loan it is a career training loan. I wa
s told in January that I could hold back my payment for 6 months but the interes
t would continue to accrue. I called this afternoon and I was told that I could
only do the forbearance for 3 months. Is there anyway around this stupid loan an
