(a) write phrases
Resource(s) : Sentence cards, worksheets.
Activities:
1. Pupils revise the previous lesson by answering questions like:
Teacher: What time do you get up in the morning?
Students: 6 o’clock.
And so on.
2. Pupils spell the phrases on the cards.
3. Pupils read the phrases and understand the phrases with guidance from the teacher.
4. Pupils discuss the task given in groups.
5. Pupils fill in the answer in the table given individually.
6. Pupils and teacher discuss the answers.
7. Pupils who are chosen by the teacher answer the questions in front of the class.

Activities :
1. Pupils read the lyrics of “Eensy Weensy Spider” song.
2. Pupils listen and enjoy the song.
3. Pupils sing the song after teacher.
4. Pupils find the verbs in simple past tense in the lyrics.
5. Pupils sit in groups.
6. Pupils practice the song and teacher asks them to make the
actions.
7. Pupils take turns to perform their action song.
