Angels
1. Ephesians 6:10
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His
might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to
stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle
against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against
powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against
spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore
take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand
in the evil day, and having done all to stand. 14 Stand therefore,
having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of
righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of
the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with
which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit,
which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and
supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all
perseverance and supplication for all the saints—
2. Colossians 1:15-17
15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn
over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created
that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and
invisible, whether thrones or dominions or
principalities or powers. All things were created
through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all
things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the
head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the
firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have
the preeminence.
3. Colossians 2:13-15
13 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the
uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive
together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,
14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements
that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He
has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.
15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He
made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them
in it.
5. Acts 2
1 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they
were all with one accord in one place. And
suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of
a rushing mighty WIND, and it filled the whole
house where they were sitting. Then there
appeared to them divided tongues as of FIRE,
and one sat uopn each of them. And they were
filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with
other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.
6. Psalm 104
– 1 Bless the LORD, O my soul! O LORD my God,
You are very great: You are clothed with honor and
majesty,2 Who cover Yourself with light as with a
garment, Who stretch out the heavens like a curtain. 3
He lays the beams of His upper chambers in the
waters, Who makes the clouds His chariot, Who walks
on the wings of the wind 4 Who makes His angels
spirits, (winds) His ministers a flame of fire.
Spirits= Ruwach = wind or breath of God
7. Hebrews 1:14
"Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve
those who will inherit salvation?"

8. Isaiah 55:1
So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not
return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
Hebrews 11:3
By faith we understand that the universe was created
by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made
out of things that are visible.
The ―Things‖ that created were words.
9. Psalm 103:20
Bless the LORD, you His angels, Mighty in strength,
who perform His word, Obeying the voice of His word!
Angels are still waiting and listening for the voice of
God through us His Sons to help us and minister to us!
10. Luke 22
39 Jesus went out as usual to the Mount of Olives, and
his disciples followed him. 40 On reaching the place,
he said to them, ―Pray that you will not fall into
temptation.‖ 41 He withdrew about a stone‘s throw
beyond them, knelt down and prayed, 42 ―Father, if
you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will,
but yours be done.‖ 43 An angel from heaven
appeared to him and strengthened him.
11. ACTS 12
1 Now about that time Herod the king stretched out his hand
to harass some from the church. 2 Then he killed James the
brother of John with the sword. 3 And because he saw that it
pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to seize Peter also.
Now it was during the Days of Unleavened Bread. 4 So
when he had arrested him, he put him in prison, and
delivered him to four squads of soldiers to keep him,
intending to bring him before the people after Passover.5
Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer
was offered to God for him by the church. 6 And when Herod
was about to bring him out, that night Peter was sleeping,
bound with two chains between two soldiers; and the guards
before the door were keeping the prison. 7 Now behold, an
angel of the Lord stood by him, and a light shone in the
prison; and he struck Peter on the side and raised him up,
saying, ―Arise quickly!‖ And his chains fell off his hands.
12. Acts 12:8-11
8 Then the angel said to him, ―Gird yourself and tie on your
sandals‖; and so he did. And he said to him, ―Put on your
garment and follow me.‖ 9 So he went out and followed him,
and did not know that what was done by the angel was real,
but thought he was seeing a vision. 10 When they were past
the first and the second guard posts, they came to the iron
gate that leads to the city, which opened to them of its own
accord; and they went out and went down one street, and
immediately the angel departed from him. 11 And when
Peter had come to himself, he said, ―Now I know for certain
that the Lord has sent His angel, and has delivered me
from the hand of Herod and from all the expectation of the
Jewish people.‖
13. What did Jesus do?
What did the church do?

releases angels to do God‘s bidding on our behalf.
Isaiah 44:6,7
6―Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel, And his
Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: ‗ I am the First and I am
the Last; Besides Me there is no God. 7 And who can
proclaim as I do? Then let him declare it and set it in
order for Me,
14. Daniel 10
In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a message was revealed to Daniel,
whose name was called Belteshazzar. The message was true, but the
appointed time was long; and he understood the message, and had
understanding of the vision. 2 In those days I, Daniel, was mourning three full
weeks. 3 I ate no pleasant food, no meat or wine came into my mouth, nor did
I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.
4 Now on the twenty-fourth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the
great river, that is, the Tigris, 5 I lifted my eyes and looked, and behold, a
certain man clothed in linen, whose waist was girded with gold of Uphaz! 6 His
body was like beryl, his face like the appearance of lightning, his eyes like
torches of fire, his arms and feet like burnished bronze in color, and the sound
of his words like the voice of a multitude.
7 And I, Daniel, alone saw the vision, for the men who were with me did not
see the vision; but a great terror fell upon them, so that they fled to hide
themselves. 8 Therefore I was left alone when I saw this great vision, and no
strength remained in me; for my vigor was turned to frailty in me, and I
retained no strength. 9 Yet I heard the sound of his words; and while I heard
the sound of his words I was in a deep sleep on my face, with my face to the
ground.
15. Daniel 10 continued…
10 Suddenly, a hand touched me, which made me tremble
on my knees and on the palms of my hands. 11 And he said
to me, ―O Daniel, man greatly beloved, understand the
words that I speak to you, and stand upright, for I have now
been sent to you.‖ While he was speaking this word to me, I
stood trembling.
12 Then he said to me, ―Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first
day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble
yourself before your God, your WORDS were heard; and I
have come BECAUSE OF YOUR WORDS.13 But the
prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one
days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to
help me
16. 2 Kings 6
8 Now the king of Aram was at war with Israel. After conferring with his
officers, he said, ―I will set up my camp in such and such a place.‖9 The man
of God sent word to the king of Israel: ―Beware of passing that place, because
the Arameans are going down there.‖ 10 So the king of Israel checked on the
place indicated by the man of God. Time and again Elisha warned the king, so
that he was on his guard in such places. 11 This enraged the king of Aram. He
summoned his officers and demanded of them, ―Tell me! Which of us is on the
side of the king of Israel?‖12 ―None of us, my lord the king,‖ said one of his
officers, ―but Elisha, the prophet who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the
very words you speak in your bedroom.‖13 ―Go, find out where he is,‖ the king
ordered, ―so I can send men and capture him.‖ The report came back: ―He is
in Dothan.‖ 14 Then he sent horses and chariots and a strong force there.
They went by night and surrounded the city.15 When the servant of the man
of God got up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and
chariots had surrounded the city. ―Oh no, my lord! What shall we do?‖ the
servant asked.16 ―Don‘t be afraid,‖ the prophet answered. ―Those who are
with us are more than those who are with them.‖17 And Elisha prayed, ―Open
his eyes, LORD, so that he may see.‖ Then the LORD opened the servant‘s
eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all
around Elisha.
