was renamed to Kwaishinsha Motorcar
company for seven years. After the
seven years, they returned to the name
DAT motorcar company. Then, after a

car called the Datson, meaning the son
of DAT. After this car was made and
Nissan took over DAT motors, they
changed the "son" to "sun" because son
also means loss in Japan; thus, giving
