People spend a significant amount of time watching television and viewing commercials, though some commercials can be boring or repetitive. For a school project, students are tasked with creating their own 30-second television commercial, which involves planning the product or service, commercial style, script, filming techniques, and post-production editing within a 20-30 second time frame.

1. “TV COMMERCIAL”

People love watching TV. In fact, we spend
more and more time watching TV. However,
everytime we are watching our favourite TV show, we have to suffer
hundreds of TV commercials. Some are funny and creative but
others are boring and repetitive.
On this occasion we would like you to film your own TV
commercial. For that you need some planning before hand:

Think of the product or service you want to
advert
Think of the type of commercial you want to
use (before and after, mystery commercial,
minimal commercial, VIP presence, funny
story...)
Prepare the text to include as a voice-off (do
not forget to include lots of adjectives, special
offers...!)
Plan the setting, people involved, camera movements...
Add digital effects if necessary
Mix the video recording with the voice-off, music, etc.
Finally, remember to keep your TV commercial between 20 and 30
seconds.
