This is my vague beginner's guide to fonts, a talk I did at Barcamp Bournemouth 2012.
On a slide where a new font is introduced, the name of the typeface is in the bottom right hand corner.
34. p {
CSS3 Font-Face Property font-size:15px;
Google WebFonts line-height: 20px;
letter-spacing:5px;
}
Use thin columns for lots of text. Don’t go wide!
35. The Verge use size
14px text, line
height of 23px, and
a column size of
565px.
Create some
breathing room, you
don’t need to use
the whole screen.
Reading should be
relaxing, not
stressful.
