2. Vision & Mission
Vision: Playing to possibility: creating real possibility for all EPA youth for academic
and life success through collective music and digital(multimedia) performance.
Mission: Youth-driven live music and multimedia performance empowering
disadvantaged youth with grit: preventing high school drop-outs / positively
impacting high-school drop-out rates by empowering youth with grit/ teaching
non-cognitive skills (non-cognitive skill formation). Providing experiential
opportunities for youth to develop grit: motivation, perseverance and determination
(tenacity), trustworthiness
Transformation through performance/artistic process
Whole child development vs. No Child Left Behind.

what’s missing in academic success.
• Community- human to human connection through
performing arts
