IT-
SENTENCE
Group of words arranged in meaningful order it’s called
sentence.
Types of sentence:-
FUNCTIONAL SENTENCE.
STRUCTUAL SENTENCE.
Functional sentences-
A Declarative Sentence makes a statement. It
ends with a full stop. (.)
Example- This is a table.
2. An Interrogative Sentence asks a question. It ends
with a question mark. (?)
Example- Is this a table?
An Exclamation Sentence expresses surprise,
anger, wonder, etc. It ends with an exclamation
mark. (!)
Example- What a lovely table!
An Imperative Sentence makes a request or gives
a command. It ends with a full stop. (.)
Example- Put the table here.
A Declarative Sentence can be a positive sentence
or a negative sentence.
Example- He is kind. (Positive sentence)
He is not kind. (Negative sentence)
