3. INTRODUCTION:
• Solar cell:a solar cell is an electronic device which directly converts sunlight into
electricity. Light shining on the solar cell produces both a current and a voltage to
generate electric power.[1]
• Photovoltaic effect:voltage is generated in a solar cell by a process known as the
"photovoltaic effect". The collection of light-generated carriers by the p-n junction
causes a movement of electrons to the n-type side and holes to the p-type side of the
junction.[1]

8. OBJECTIVE:
• Implementation of perovskites solar solar cell device structure with lead-free material by
choosing suitable ETL &HTL layers in gpvdm tool.
• Improve the efficiency of lead-free tin perovskite solar cells by carefully controlling the
built-in electric field in the absorber which is done by varying ion density in perovskite
layer.
• Comparison of proposed solarcell parameters with existing solarcell structures
