Event Report – SAP TechEd 2019 – BTP debuts
MyPOV: A lot of innovation in SAP technology. The mission is clear –
serve the SAP business apps portfolio. MIA where innovative PaaS
and developer strategies. No ABAP. Good to see HANA Cloud.
One of three developer conferences of SAP, this was the Barcelona
edition (Las Vegas has happened, Bangalore fill follow in November).
Attendance seemed to be lower, but influencers there in force.

• SAP debuts the Business Technology Platform (BTP)
• A TechEd that often felt more like a Sapphire
• HANA (finally) debuts as a SaaS service with HANA Cloud
