2. The Chemicals in Cigarettes Smoking contains pure poison. Many of these drugs often lead to death or lung cancer. Cigarettes contain black tar, which can block your lungs and literally turn them black. If this happens, it becomes harder for the lungs to spread oxygen throughout the body.

3. Why is Smoking Bad? Smoking contains many harmful substances to your body. First of all, you get yellow teeth and your fingernails turn yellow as well. It also contains tobacco, which is a poison which gives you lung cancer. Why can’t you stop smoking so easily? Well, first of all, they contain an addictive drug called nicotine, which makes you want more cigarettes. Once you start it, it’s hard to stop because your brain wants more.

4. What can you do to Stop? If you have a relative or close friend who stops, you can help them to stop. You can help control there daily routine of smoking. You can also reduce the amount of cigarettes the person smokes daily. Once you stop, it’s going to take about three years for the smoker to have healthy lungs again.
