2. Grover Arnett, an individual who overcame a childhood
of extreme poverty and went on to graduate from law
school and run his own private legal practice, presently
sits on the Board of Trustees at the College of the
Ozarks in Point Lookout, Missouri.
3. The College of the Ozarks embodies the Christian
values that builds character, inspires hard work, and
teaches financial responsibility. In advancing high-
quality Christian education in America, the college
supports students with financial difficulties by defraying
tuition costs in favor of work-study. The school commits
to meeting the full cost of education for students who
participate in the Work Education Program, meaning
such students eventually graduate from the College of
the Ozarks without debt. In fact, the school excludes
itself from the United States’ student-debt infrastructure,
including private as well as federal and state loan
programs.
