Graphic Design Production • Advantages of working in this medium – There are a lot of tools to use on Photoshop. – You can make really good looking images. – the best way to advertise something to deaf people. • Disadvantages of working in this medium – Can be complicated to use. – You can easily mess up the image your making. – Its not good for blind people.
Graphic Design Production Both ads have a slogan and the coca cola logo. They both show a coca cola bottle and something exploding from it. Both ads have coca colas main colour (red). My background colour is different, and the explosion surrounds the hole coke bottle not just the top.
Graphic Design Production Both have the same main colour and a coca cola bottle. My ad has the logo in clear view. I have people drinking the product.
Radio Production • Advantages of working in this medium – You could be a very good talker. – you just have to listen to it so you can do other stuff. – unlike a poster or video game you can listen to this in the car, because its safe. • Disadvantages of working in this medium – You may not be confident to talk. – Not great for deaf people. – No visuals so some people may not know what is being advertised.
Radio Production They both have a summer theme, they both advertise coca cola. They both have background music, and they both have a narrator. Also there 2 narrators have a conversation, are 2 narrators don’t talk to each other.
Radio Production Strength Weaknesses No copyrighted music. Its not too long. There is a long gap in the middle with just music. We used adobe audition to create the radio add.
Video Game Experiments
Video Game Production • Advantages of working in this medium – It mite appeal to a younger audience. – Its interactive. – it can be any style of game. (third person, side scroller) – Radio doesn’t work for deaf people and posters don’t work for blind people. With video games you can make it work for anybody. (braille controller for blind people) • Disadvantages of working in this medium – May take a while to make. – Mite not appeal to a older audience, or people who don’t like games. – people mite find it difficult to play.

Video Game Production Strength +1 comes up when you grab a cola can. Weaknesses Too short The coca cola logo is in it. Dull background I used Photoshop to make the product. I used the pencil tool to create all the pixelated images. And I used the timeline to create the video.
Comparison • Which product do you believe advertises the product the best? Why? I think the graphic design advertises the product the best. Because the other two (radio and video game) are videos/audio clips. But the graphic design was a poster so you can show everything to do with the product and you can look at it for as long as you want, and can be suitable for all audiences. • Which of your products is the most professional? Why? I think my advergame was the most professional, because it looks like a proper game, and is suitable for all ages.

Graphic Design Production • Advantages of working in this medium – There are a lot of tools to use on Photoshop. – You can make really good looking images. – the best way to advertise something to deaf people. • Disadvantages of working in this medium – Can be complicated to use. – You can easily mess up the image your making. – Its not good for blind people.
  • 4. Graphic Design Production Both ads have a slogan and the coca cola logo. They both show a coca cola bottle and something exploding from it. Both ads have coca colas main colour (red). My background colour is different, and the explosion surrounds the hole coke bottle not just the top.
  • 5. Graphic Design Production Both have the same main colour and a coca cola bottle. My ad has the logo in clear view. I have people drinking the product.
  • 6. Radio Production • Advantages of working in this medium – You could be a very good talker. – you just have to listen to it so you can do other stuff. – unlike a poster or video game you can listen to this in the car, because its safe. • Disadvantages of working in this medium – You may not be confident to talk. – Not great for deaf people. – No visuals so some people may not know what is being advertised.
  • 7. Radio Production They both have a summer theme, they both advertise coca cola. They both have background music, and they both have a narrator. Also there 2 narrators have a conversation, are 2 narrators don’t talk to each other.
  • 8. Radio Production Strength Weaknesses No copyrighted music. Its not too long. There is a long gap in the middle with just music. We used adobe audition to create the radio add.
  • 10. Video Game Production • Advantages of working in this medium – It mite appeal to a younger audience. – Its interactive. – it can be any style of game. (third person, side scroller) – Radio doesn’t work for deaf people and posters don’t work for blind people. With video games you can make it work for anybody. (braille controller for blind people) • Disadvantages of working in this medium – May take a while to make. – Mite not appeal to a older audience, or people who don’t like games. – people mite find it difficult to play.

  • 12. Video Game Production Strength +1 comes up when you grab a cola can. Weaknesses Too short The coca cola logo is in it. Dull background I used Photoshop to make the product. I used the pencil tool to create all the pixelated images. And I used the timeline to create the video.
  • 13. Comparison • Which product do you believe advertises the product the best? Why? I think the graphic design advertises the product the best. Because the other two (radio and video game) are videos/audio clips. But the graphic design was a poster so you can show everything to do with the product and you can look at it for as long as you want, and can be suitable for all audiences. • Which of your products is the most professional? Why? I think my advergame was the most professional, because it looks like a proper game, and is suitable for all ages.
