1st online WebQuest:http://zunal.com/webquest.php?w=224800
2ndWebQuest:
IntroductionNow that we know about the history of Abnormal Psychology we can break down the different
disorders. To start off with some things we’ve all heard a little bit about before, we’re going to
learn about mood disorders! You know the moods we all have? Just think of it like that except
some are extremely heightened.
TaskAs we break down different mood disorders, the learner will gain greater knowledge about the
individual disorders. Once the WebQuest is completed, the learner should be able to partake in
a class discussion and answer some standard questions about each.
Process1st:
You are going to need to go to an individual computer to complete this WebQuest. Follow
along, and afterwards we’ll come back together as a class where I will ask for question, ask you
all questions, and have an overall discussion where I expect feedback. For participation points
you are going to want to know the information that comes next.
2nd:

3rd:
Good job! Now come back and join us in the real world where we’ll discuss, as a class, all of
these interesting mood disorders. Remember, don’t be afraid to speak up! Right or wrong
answer, I’m looking for participation. I’ll open up the discussion by asking for questions, then
ask you all questions to see if you paid attention while following the activity, and then close
with anything else you guys may want to know! Get ready to discuss!
EvaluationThis will be graded entirely on participation. Ask a question, help someone out with an answer,
answer one of my questions, add you opinion or input into a topic, or all of the above! If you
haven’t said anything by the end, I’ll ask you something individually to help get you these
points!
10/10- Participated in the discussion.
5/10- Present, interested, but not involved.
0/10- Not present.
ConclusionDid you all enjoy this kind of activity? I think it’s different, and let me know if you want to see
more things like this! Mood disorders are pretty interesting, aren’t they? It’s just heightened
experiences we all have inside of us. Next we’ll talk about anxiety disorders. Get excited!
