Attraction of new talents to a firm is one of the
main task of a successful organization.
Firms around the world strive to attract new
talents and they innovate on that.
Firms also offer non-monetary tools. A well
advance on-boarding program to the new hires is
one of the non-monetary approaches.
3. ADVANCED ON-BOARDING
Advanced on-boarding program will supports the
organizations to retain those new hires.
New employees decide whether they will stay at an
organization within the first 6 months on the job.
4. DEFINITION:
it is basically a mechanism to get the new
employees to be familiar and to obtain
knowledge, skills, organizational behaviors , and
the firm's policies and procedures to help them
get adopted into the organization culture and to
be effective employees ( My own)

After recruiting the new employees :
the formal on-boarding process will start.
The next step will be making sure that all the initial
information are provided to the new hires over the phone,
emails, and face to face discussions.
7. 2ND ORIENTATION /ON BOARDING EVENT
PHASE
The physical welcoming stage of the new hires.
On-boarding team design a program for the
whole orientation stage.
The program gets those new employees familiar
with important aspects of their jobs , the
organization, company’s culture and values, and
its history
8. 2ND ORIENTATION / ON BOARDING EVENT
PHASE
The organizations use different tools: Lectures,
videos, discussions, and written material.
On-boarding team designs a on boarding plan,
print it and provide it to the new comers in the
first day or even ahead of time ( Min of 5
working days).
9. 3RD AFTER THE ON BOARDING DAY PHASE
This stage is related to long term on boarding
program.
It follow up with the new hire beyond the first
few days of the date of joining ( Few months)
It involves meetings, discussions, coaching and
mentoring of the new hires.
10. 3RD AFTER THE ON BOARDING DAY PHASE
The meeting:
Hold in specific interval.
Aligned with the probation periods.
Helping new employees get more information and
support they need.
Be a specific and organized involvement of all
concern stakeholders.
11. RECOMMENDATION
Please: collect the feedback of the new hires
and used it as a tool to continuous improvement
of the on boarding program.
