• Main tasks for winter term: Not losing students (“Zoom-fatigue”) & integrated freshmen (“Onboarding”)
• Don’t over-engineer, e.g. little demand for central course recordings, for rental notebooks or power plugs
within tents
• TUM is setting up an Institute for Life Long Learning and a EuroTeQ Engineering Campus

  • 12. • Besides all the bad stuff, COVID-19 is a catalyst for digitization: «what was unthinkable half a year ago is now possible, e.g. online proctored exams» • TUM’s IT infrastructure has proven itself • Main tasks for winter term: Not losing students (“Zoom-fatigue”) & integrated freshmen (“Onboarding”) • Don’t over-engineer, e.g. little demand for central course recordings, for rental notebooks or power plugs within tents • TUM is setting up an Institute for Life Long Learning and a EuroTeQ Engineering Campus Lessons Learned & The New Normal 12
