When someone hurts you or pinch you. 
You will say:
Dizzy 
Complain: 1. I feel dizzy.
Headache 
Complain: 1. I have a headache. 
2. I have a very bad headache.
Toothache. 
Complain: 1. I have a toothache. 
2. My teeth hurts so bad.
Back ache 
Complain: 1. I have a back ache. 
2. I have a very bad back ache.
Stomachache 
Complain: 1. I have a stomachache. 
2. My tummy hurts.
Muscle/Joint Pain 
Complain: 1. I have muscle pains. 
2. I couldn’t move. I have muscle pains 
all over my body. 
3. I have joint pains.
Cough 
Complain: 1. I have a cough. 
2. I have a very bad cough.
Flu 
Complain: 1. I have a flu. 
2. I have a very bad flu.
Insomnia 
Complain: I have insomnia. 
I can’t sleep at night, I have insomnia.
Sore Throat 
Complain: I have a sore throat. 
I have a very bad sore throat.
Fever 
Complain: I have a fever. (37 degrees and over) 
I have a high fever. (40 degrees and over)
Cut / Wound 
Complain: 1. I have a cut in my finger. It really hurts. 
2. I have a very bad wound in my leg.
Bruises 
Complain: 1. I have bruises in my 
face/leg/arm/chest/body/shoulder/etc. 
It really hurts.
Broken Arm/Leg/Back/ 
Complain: 1. I have a broken arm/leg/shoulder 
It really hurts.
Asking for a Situation or Condition 
1. Hey, are you ok? 
2. Hey, are you alright? 
3. Are you alright, Nuch? 
4. Is something wrong? 
5. What’s the matter? 
To response, you could say: 
1. I’m fine./ I’m good./ I’m pretty good. / I’m well. 
2. No, I’m not. I don’t feel well. 
3. Not exactly. I have a fever.
Asking for Advice 
- In asking for advice, you say; 
1. I have a stomachache, what do you think 
should I do? 
2. I have a headache, what do you think 
should I do? 
3. I have muscle pains, what should I do? 
4. I have bruises, what should I do?
In giving advice you say: 
1. I think you should go to the doctor. 
2. I think you should take a medicine. 
3. You should take a rest. 
4. You should take a pain 
reliever/paracetamol/vitamin C/etc. 
5. If I were you, I should apply hot and cold 
compress in the affected part.
