HUMANWORKS is a Design Center

Ebru Özen - Program Designer & Change Facilitator
Graduated from the American Academy for Girls (AAG ’88) and İstanbul University (’92).
Özen started her career as a Management Trainee for Garanti Bank right after graduation, where she
worked for the following ten years. She specialized on international project finance and rotated within
different business lines of banking in line with the Talent Program.
On her professional journey, she became engaged in the art of project and change management. Her
curiosity encouraged her to explore new grounds. She sought opportunities to experience all aspects of
change, inquiring and testing various approaches and building up valuable insights. The re-engineering of
the organizational systems and processes of the Bank has been the turning point of her career, after which
she got fully absorbed in organizational development and change management projects.
Özen took part in the establishment of the competency center for Organisational Development within the
Doğuş Group - Humanitas. With her team, they facilitated over 70 projects for 12+ companies in 3 years’
time.
In 2003 Özen founded HumanWorks, as a design center for corporate development programs targeting
the business KPI’s of the clients. Özen and her team enjoy being creative around the organizational
problems that their clients face and provide innovative development solutions on a case-by-case basis.

Özen writes a personal blog about innovation & creativity. She supports several projects including
“Financial Literacy” and “Empowerment of Women”. She is a member of the Professional
Women’s Network (PWN Global) and is the team leader of “Mentoring Women in Finance”
program.
