What is ESH International?
The International Stream in the B.Sc. in
Environmental Science and Health is an
award* winning internationally unique
four-year degree offered in conjunction
with University of Wollongong in
Australia and University of Colorado,
Boulder, in the USA.
Students take a video class in Yr 1, 2
and 4 with all partner institutions-
global societal significance.
University of Wollongong climate
change in year one;
University of Colorado delivers a
module on bioethical dilemmas in year
two and
DCU leads the module on research
frontiers in year four.
Students spend a semester in a partner
institution in year three.
How do I apply?
Entry into this programme is via a competitive process, and is based on an interview,
personal statement and your grades to date. Shortlisted students will be invited to interview
in December Yr I , with successful candidates notified before the Christmas break.
What happens if I do not maintain a H2:1?
ESHI student grades will be reviewed at the end of every academic session. If you do not
maintain the academic standards necessary for this elite stream, then you will exit the
programme, and return to the main ESH programme.
This option is also open to CES 1 students
