Think about a time when you were part of a high functioning
team. How creative was this team? Without including names,
were unethical or immoral actions taken? If so, what was the
impact on trust within the team? If you do not have experience
on a high functioning team, think about any team with which
you have experience. Why was it not high functioning?

Unit 7 Essay
Instructions
Write an essay comparing and contrasting how a leader may use
relative moral theories and universal moral theories. Consider
the following situation.
You are a member of the university debate team. You have an
upcoming competition with your most bitter rival, and the
general topic has been released: relative moral theories vs.
universal moral theories, which are more effective with regard
to team success?
Select a position for the debate. In other words, decide which of
the two you believe is the more effective. The best debaters are
able to present both sides of the issue while explaining why
their position is correct. To that end, discuss each of the two
types of moral theories, and provide evidence as to why your
selected position is the correct position. [Learning Outcome
6.1]
Make sure to address the following points in the essay.
· Give an explanation of relative moral theories. [Learning

· Give an explanation of universal moral theories. [Learning
Outcome 6.1]
· What is the impact of unethical or immoral behaviors on trust
within a team? [Learning Outcome 6.2]
· Which type of theory would be more effective in establishing
trust within a team, and why? [Learning Outcome 6.3]
The essay should be a minimum of three pages and should
include at least two sources from the CSU Online Library
databases for support.
As a research tip, go to the CSU Online Library, click on
databases, and go to ABI/Inform Collection database. In the
search field, type “teleological framework,” and hit Search.
Select an article from the list of results that provides evidence
supporting the position selected. After you have finished with
the selected article, go back to the search page. Repeat this
process entering “deontological framework,” and select an
article from the list of results. When entering these terms
include the quotation marks. These two searches should provide
articles that can be used in support of either position.
APA style should be used for this assignment. All sources used,
including the textbook, must be referenced; paraphrased and
quoted material must have accompanying APA citations.

Healthcare Information Technology
Module A focuses on Healthcare Information Technology (HIT)
as an area which is influencing
Healthcare Reform for nurses, practitioners, educators, and
administrators at local, state, and national
levels. Healthcare information technology provides
opportunities for healthcare providers to improve
productivity, operational efficiency, education, patient
satisfaction, including safety and quality in
delivery of patient care. At the completion of this module the
student will have evaluated the role of
HIT in improving delivery of patient care. Additionally the
student will have assessed the challenges
and successes of implementing HIT as well as strategies to
overcome these challenges.

Students will gain experience searching the Web for Podcasts
on Healthcare Information
Technology. Students will evaluate the quality of the design of
and information provided by the
Podcast. A Podcast is an audio or audiovisual file that is
uploaded to the Internet by an individual
or organization. Select a topic that you are interested in that is
related to healthcare information
technology and/or informatics. There are numerous podcasts on
the Internet. For example, you
might take your topic and do an Internet search using search
engines such as Google or Mozilla
Firefox. Be sure to put your topic idea and the word "Podcast"
in your search. You might select
topics and/or processes that you are using in your practice
setting. A podcast that does not
have a focus on healthcare information technology and/or
informatics will have point
deductions according to the rubric for this assignment.
A Web Source/URL that is not a Podcast will receive an
assigned grade of zero (0).
