Presentation - Adjectives to describe feelings
1. How are you?
I’m great and you?
I’m fine thanks .
I’m not so bad. (=0K)
I’m all right.( =OK)
I’m a little tired.(cansado)
I’m quite stressed.
I’m not so good. I’ve got a cold.
I feel terrible. I feel really sick.
2. There are usually two adjectives for each feeling: a
normal adjective and a strong adjective. For example
I’m hungry > I’m starving! (very hungry)
I’m tired >I’m exhausted! (agotado)
I’m happy > I’m absolutely delighted! (encantado)
I’m nervous > I’m hysterical
(Always try to think of two ways of saying the same
thing – it help you expand your vocabulary.
3. Many adjectives end in either ….
ed > confused, interested, bored, relaxed OR
ing > confusing, interesting, boring, relaxing
Use ed adjectives to talk about how you feel or how you are
affected and ing adjectives to give your opinion about
something. For example
I’m interested in music.
I think music is very interesting.
He finds physics very confusing.
He is very confused about physics.
