The school library received funding for new technology and formed a technology team to purchase iPads instead of laptops or smartboards. An apps committee studied and recommended educational apps, and teachers were issued iPads over the summer to learn the technology. During a staff development day, the library showcased how 24 iPads and an iPad cart were being used for computer classes, online voting for book awards, student book trailers, and recommended apps like Animoto, Toontastic, Story Patch, and iMovie.
