IG3 task 2

  1. 1. Anthony Bowes IG3 Task 2 This is me creating a sound on game maker on to game maker. This allows me to import my sound into game maker to add to the objects. This process was easy and was a quick process allowing creating a lot of sounds My first sound that I uploaded was the player gets shot sound, this sound is played when a bullet hits the player, I used my retro punch sound. I used this process to choose all my sounds. i can also edit the sound from this panel Giving me a variety of options to change the sound.
  2. 2. Anthony Bowes IG3 Task 2 This is me testing that my sounds work as there was a problem with the sounds playing. All my sounds are working well and there were no problems this time This is where I open the panel to implement my sounds, I must load the sound on to an object so that it gifts with the action
  3. 3. Anthony Bowes IG3 Task 2 This is where I added the sound into the game via the event panel. This allowed me to add a sound when a certain action happens. With this option I can loop the sound to repeat itself. I did this with the background music as it did not come with an action. This is me testing my game making sure all the sounds play when they are supposed to and that they play at the right time. When I tested it all my sounds worked well. They played at the right time although there was a slight lag with the sound when the player was hit but this was due to the initial sound itself.
