The first day

2. The coach journey
The morning of Monday
19 th we met at 8 o’clock
to leave from school. The
coach arrived at half past
eight and we left after a
while.
The journey lasted about
three hours and the
driver took us directly to
the Science Museum.
3. The Science City
We arrived at the museum in
Bagnoli at half past twelve and
we started the visit with the
help of a guide. We did some
physical experiments for
example «The vacuum pump»
and «The plasma globe».
4. Lunch by the sea
We had lunch at two o’clock with
homemade sandwiches on the
terrace of the museum, by the
sea. We had a rest for a half-hour
and we took some photos to the
seascape.
It was three o’clock and we had to
stay at the museum for an other
hour. So we came back in the
museum and we toured it
without the guide.
5. St. Chiara monastery
Then we came back to the pullman
and we went to Naples town to visit
the monastery of St. Chiara, a gothic
church wich has a big cloister. It was
wonderful! The all cloister was
covered with majolicas. There was
also a beautiful garden with orange
trees, columns and a funtain. It was
a silent and quiet moment.
6. The Archeological museum
After the visit, we walked through the streets of Naples to
arrive at the archeological museum and we saw a strange
duck that focused our attention.
At the museum we could see some famous copies of important
Greek statues such as the «Ercole Farnese», the «Gruppo del
Toro Farnese» and the «Doriforo».
The visit of the archeological museum lasted only a hour, ‘couse
we were tired and we had to go to the hotel.
7. Hotel and dinner
We arrived at the hotel at eight
o’clock pm.
We had dinner at a quarter past eight,
we ate pasta and meat. After dinner
we came back to our rooms and we
had a relaxing and funny evening.
At eleven o’clock we went to bed, we
were tired but happy, it had been a
nice day.
