 Provides proper bases for Remedial Teaching
 The goal of this document are to facilitate the
setting of appropriate standards for test
evaluation, to provide best practice guidelines
for assessing the performance and
operational characteristics of diagnostic tests
for infections disease in population in which
the test are intended to be used to help those
designing evaluations at all levels.
Introduction
Teacher can use remedial teaching after diagnostic test.
Without remedial teaching diagnostic test remains
meaningless.
A treatment of patients is start after understanding
symptoms of illness. Like this one after understanding the
spelling weakness, teacher starts to think on it through
remedial teaching.
 Definition
 The teaching done for the student who could
achieve the expected objective is called as
remedial teaching.
“Remedial teaching is morale building and an
interest building enterprise for the student”
Meaning:
Remedial teaching means improvement in
English language learning.
English as a third language student committed
mistakes so teacher should always prepare for
diagnostic testing and remedial teaching.
“ to remedy” means to cure against a defect.
Therefore, remedial teaching in providing
instructional creativeness.
Generally we can see spoken of English is poor. We
can see the worse condition of English. So, as a
English teacher he/ she should check English of the
student regularly.
The student should be taught English carefully.
They should be give be given regular guidance by
the teacher. He / she should be checking their own
written work, spoken
English etc. so we can see the improvement in
student slowly and steadily.
In this way English language can easily be
learned by the student through remedial
teaching.
1. Drills of sentence patterns may be given by the
teacher, give simple repetition drill to the class.
2. The simple repetition drill should be given
through substitution table.
3. Incorrect sentences and corrected sentences
may be written on a chart ,through drilling
student will be able to get rid of incorrect
English.
4. Teacher should to take frequent test in order to
see whether the student have some
improvement or not.
