The Dangers of Not Following Traffic Laws
Driving is one of most dangerous things you will ever do. Driving remains the number one cause
of death in the United States. Drivers put themselves and others at risk every time they get behind
the wheel of their vehicle. The dangers increase when drivers fail to following traffic laws such as
drinking and driving, speeding or texting while driving their vehicle. Driving is not a right, it is a
privilege. You must follow traffic laws and demonstrate your ability to drive safely and
cautiously on the roads. It is your own responsibility to be a safe and careful driver, not only for
yourself but for other drivers you share the road with. If you fail to follow traffic laws you are not
only putting yourself in a dangerous situation, you are putting others in danger as well. You also
take the chance of traffic fines, having your license suspended or revoked or even worse, death.
Traffic Laws:
Traffic laws are designed and applied for your safety. They allow orderly and safe commutes
between destinations. Traffic laws may be enforced by tickets, fines and even jail time for major
violations such has driving under the influence. Road safety is important and by knowing the rules

two wheels and not four, the driver's balance and driving abilities, including quick reflexes, play a
critical role. However, that only accounts for rider–controlled safety, a few mechanical safety
features exist but none stand up to that of car safety features.
As automotive manufacturers develop new technology to make cars even safer, motorcycle
manufacturers have very little room for safety features. Motorcycle features such as, brighter
headlights, motorcycle airbags and mirrors with larger fields of view can help reduce the risk of an
accident or the severity of injuries. But in general, motorcycles can't enter the market labeled as safer

Young children that are not informed of safety are getting killed by vehicles because they do not

under the age of 14 died from accidents with cars. Also, in the year of 2000, nearly 44,600 children
were treated in hospital emergency rooms for pedestrian related injuries.
The background of the issue is that children are not being educated the correct way about cars, road

before in the year of 2000, nearly 44,600 children were affected by this issue. This is a problem
that we can fix. The number will not go all the way to zero because because things happens that
we can not control, but the number will go down if we control the things we can control. If 733
children die under the age of 14 due to an accident, say each of them have four family members

Those numbers do not include the extended family of these people and the people who went to
school with the child who was passed away. There are hundreds of thousands of people who are
affected by the deaths of children who die from pedestrian accidents. Children dying is an urgent
problem. Parents never should receive a call saying that their child has been hit by a car, because
they ran out in front of the vehicle. This is a problem that needs to be fixed. When people think
about this issue, they should think about safety town. They should think that a safety town will
slove the issue. Safety town will be though of a place to inform children about roads and road
signs. People will image a safe place that is saving children's lives, by informing them. There
would be a conflict of bringing a safety town to Saginaw because some people may believe that it
