Kennisnet is an ICT support organization for Dutch education with 150 employees and a budget of 35-40 million Euro funded by the Ministry of Education. Its focus from 2009-2011 is on professional development of teachers and management, making schools more flexible organizations, and ensuring availability of digital learning materials. Some of its services include professional development for teachers, online collaboration tools, searching and finding educational resources through repositories, and communities for sharing experiences and learning materials.
