Launched in 1999, Oilcareers.com is an internationally recognised website
dedicated to providing jobseekers with the means to search and apply for
new roles primarily in the Oil and Gas industry, as well as some areas of
alternative energy.
Oilcareers has recently become part of the Jobsite Group of recruitment websites –
one of the UK’s leading commercial Internet recruitment services. The Jobsite Group
is itself part of the Daily Mail and General Trust (DMGT) – one of the largest and most successful media companies in the UK.

For employers, Oilcareers offers one of the industry’s most visited websites. The site already helps some of the biggest and most
reputable employers in the Oil and Gas industries to advertise their vacancies quickly and efficiently.
Vacancy Advertising
Posting vacancies online is the quickest and most cost effective means of advertising your roles to jobseekers. Vacancy advertising

offers two types of vacancy advertising:
Premier Vacancy
The ultimate in vacancy advertising, Premier Vacancies are bespoke – designed
to match your brand and requirements. Premier vacancies:

Standard Vacancy
Standard vacancies are the most popular form of advertising on Oilcareers.
• Your vacancy will appear as a text advert, using a template design Example Premier Vacancy
• It can include a company logo

5. CV Database
Oilcareers’ CV database contains over 267,000 searchable CVs, offering you an
excellent way to target an extensive pool of specialist jobseekers from across the
globe.
Registering as a recruiter with Oilcareers enables you to access to our extensive
database. You can run an unlimited number of searches to match your specific requirements and create a pool of potential
candidates. By saving key searches and creating CV agents within your account, Oilcareers will automatic send daily email alerts to
you, with details of newly registered candidates who match your requirements.
HTML Emails
We also offer the opportunity for you to send emails to a targeted group of candidates selected from our database. These

Promoting your logo on Oilcareers’ homepage is an excellent way to promote your vacancies to jobhunters.
Figure 1 shows a 12 month summary of homepage clicks for some example customers who placed fixed logos on the
homepage during June and November and Figure 2 shows the results for a banner campaign run during April and May.
