PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
1) Al Rostamani International Exchange (www.alrostamanigroup.com/) formerly known as Thomas Cook Al
Rostamani International Exchange, Cashier (DECEMBER 2012 – Till date), Mall Of The Emirates Branch
Dubai UAE.
Role and Responsibilities:
Effective implementation of strategies and achievement of performance levels in key areas such as:
Cashier / Service Standards
 Meet & Greet customers at counter / Lobby area and thank them for their business.
 Provide service to retail and commercial customers as per established ARIE standards.
 Provide advice and guidance about ARIE products and services to customers as when and necessary.
 Achieve minimum ‘wait’ time and ‘serve’ time and aim for reducing the TAT.
 Lead customers to relevant department/persons for query resolutions, special deals and other activities.
 Play proactive role in customer retention activity. Solicit referrals and initiate cross selling opportunities to
existing customers.
 Ensure optimal profit margins are maintained for transactions. Actively convert walk-in customers to intro
card (membership) holders.
Operations / Controls
 Multi-currency funds transfer to over 100 countries with zero defects.
 Demand Drafts in over 40 currencies.
 Buying and selling of foreign currencies.
 Buying and encashment of traveler’s cheques.
 Instant money transfer & wage protection system (WPS) salary disbursement.
 Cash advance against visa and master card credit card and accept credit card payment.

AML (Anti-Money Laundering & Compliance Training Program).

 Responsible for shift schedule to include work station assignments /rotations, employee training.
Employee vacations, breaks and overtime assignment.
 Responsible for quality control. Make adjustments as necessary during shift to produce product within
specification. Reject product outside of specifications.
 Ensure a clean and safe work area.
 Complete shift paper work like sales forecasting/labour scheduling/ stock level system & reduce inventory
cost.
