Using sloodle in DE courses What is sloodle: SLOODLE (Simulation Linked Object Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment) is an Open Source project which integrates the multi-user virtual environment of Second Life® with the Moodle® learning-management system. Sloodle provides a range of tools for supporting learning and teaching to the immersive virtual world; tools which are fully integrated with a tried and tested web-based learning management system used by hundreds of thousands of educators and students worldwide.

Using sloodle in DE courses Case studies:           3-  Ministry of education in Oman is training  some of their faculty on sloodle. 1- An international cultural-exchange between Korea and Dubai has been detailed in a case study. https://www.sloodle.org/blog/?p=13 2- Sloodle at the university of the west Scotland: outlines some of the ways that SLOODLE was used by tutor and students to support teaching, learning and collaboration in the classes. Using sloodle in DE courses Expected Outcomes of using sloodle in DE courses: SLOODLE tools provided support to tutor and to students in teaching and learning.  Students‟ themselves made effective use of SLOODLE tools in supporting group work activities and for presenting their own work to other students around the world  in a short period of time, without having to first become conversant with object creation and editing in the virtual world.  ………..etc.

Using sloodle in DE courses What is sloodle: SLOODLE (Simulation Linked Object Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment) is an Open Source project which integrates the multi-user virtual environment of Second Life® with the Moodle® learning-management system. Sloodle provides a range of tools for supporting learning and teaching to the immersive virtual world; tools which are fully integrated with a tried and tested web-based learning management system used by hundreds of thousands of educators and students worldwide.
