Philippines, the
country with
many natural
resources and
leisure activities, is one of the
most preferred tourists’
destinations. For few years, the
number of tourist from Korea
has been growing up rapidly
whereas United States has
been growing slowly.
So these are caused from the
economic redesign which
switches from ex-rich countries
to new rich countries or Korean
has more power to consume
than USA.
The Effect on Airline
The Korean, like most of people
in Asia, prefers to travel by
lowest fare to cut cost but travel
in brand hotel and do many
activities. So the largest low cost
airline of Philippines, Cebu
Pacific, has been increasing
continuously according to
consumers’ behavior.
Moreover, it can
get the most
market share
in Philippines
domestic air
transport.

Why do Korean tourists love
Philippines?
Korean tourists are the biggest
source of tourists of Philippine.
There are around 1.17 million
tourists from that country. They
want to come Philippines
because they can buy cheaper
things than their own country
such as clothes, foods, house
rental or hotel price, so they can
stay at brand hotel, relax with
many activities, or retirement.
Moreover, Korean tourists’
behaviors prefer shopping,
spa treatment, playing golf,
practicing speaking English,
ecotourism, and seafood dishes.
Philippines also have many
attractive places such as SM
Mall of Asia, D'Mall, Batanes, or
Palaui Island.

Where to Shop?
SM Mall of Asia is the largest
mall in The Philippines and the
third largest of the world. Its
activities are not only shopping
but also ice skating, watching on
IMAX Theater, or visiting
science museum.
When you travel to Boracay
Island, you should not miss one
of the most attractive places like
D’mall which has high-end
stores including clothing, art
and household items. Outside,
there is beautiful white beach.
SM Mall of Asia and D'Mall are
the most popular malls for the
Korean tourists to visit and
shop. From increasing number
of tourist, they are growing as
well.
You will see that the increasing
of Korean tourists impacts on
many industries involved
tourism in the Philippines along
with aviation industry.
If you are new rich people like
Koreans and you are finding
some tourist attraction that has
a lot of activities and cheap
goods, I suggest you to go to the
Philippines, the new rich’s
paradise. Here will impress you
and you will make Philippines
people live well too. 
