2. Adjective is a word that can be used in a noun
phrase to specify some property of the head of the
phrase like
( color ,size , shape ,temperament ) or other
property concepts.
A word that describes a noun or pronoun (tell us about a noun or
something ).
3. 1. Some suffixes are found only with adjectives:
-able: comfortable -al: seasonal
-ful: playful -ic: scientific
-ish: greyish -less: useless
-ous : dangerous -y: dirty
2.Many common adjectives have no identifying form
Ex: good
Hot
Young.
4. 3. Many adjectives provide the base from which adverbs are
derived by means of -ly suffix
Ex: adjective ( great ) - adverb ( greatly) .
However, some do not allow to this derivational process:
Old- oldly.
And there are a few adjectives that are themselves derived
from an adjective base in this way,

7. AJECTIVE ORDER
When we use two or more adjectives to describe something , there are rules about
the order :
Put the general adjective first ,then the color adjective .
He bought a big black car.
8. I saw a small red insect .
She was wearing a red and white jacket .
