2. Adjective is a word that can be used in a noun
phrase to specify some property of the head of the
phrase like
( color ,size , shape ,temperament ) or other
property concepts.
A word that describes a noun or pronoun (tell us about a noun or
something ).

3. 1. Some suffixes are found only with adjectives:
-able: comfortable -al: seasonal
-ful: playful -ic: scientific
-ish: greyish -less: useless
-ous : dangerous -y: dirty
2.Many common adjectives have no identifying form
Ex: good
Hot
Young.

4. 3. Many adjectives provide the base from which adverbs are
derived by means of -ly suffix
Ex: adjective ( great ) - adverb ( greatly) .
However, some do not allow to this derivational process:
Old- oldly.
And there are a few adjectives that are themselves derived
from an adjective base in this way,
Kind (adj) - kindly (adj, adv)

5. 4. Adjectives can take comparative and superlative form.

5. They can be between the determiner and the head of the
noun phrase.
(The round table)

He sicked all evening
He sang all evening

7. AJECTIVE ORDER
When we use two or more adjectives to describe something , there are rules about
the order :
 Put the general adjective first ,then the color adjective .
He bought a big black car.

8. I saw a small red insect .
She was wearing a red and white jacket .
