(OPINION) There is never a time where the problems in the two party system are more evident than a presidential
election. While the more popular political pages on Facebook, such as Politico and NowThis, are hell-bent on
furthering the divide, the silent majority manifests itself in a variety of independent voices, all of whom have come
out expressing frustration with two party politics.

Democrats blame Republicans for gridlock in the Government, and Republicans blame Democrats.
Even in the Presidential field, there is an astounding lack of civility and compromise. Our
Government relies on a two party system, so why is the need to compromise so surprising?

The tragedy of having a two party system and absolutely no logic. Even after admitting that it is
scary to listen to the things Donald Trump has to say, Jeb Bush would still support him over Hillary

Non-establishment candidates that get nominated means losing control. Power Corrupts, Absolute
Power Corrupts Absolutely. The 2 Party System of politics in America means at any given time 1 of
the 2 will be in power, and they're willing to concede to the other party knowing it'll come back
within a decade or so. By ceding power to someone not of the establishment, risks losing a power
base for more than that decade. The GOP wants Bush, a controllable puppet.
