I hope you had a lovely weekend and are looking or to the final week!
Today you will have a go at the first half of an arithmetic paper and
then face another maths problem about ratio and proportion. In
English you will have a reading extract to answer questions on.
In art you will be making an exploding book that s is full up with art we
have done this year.

2. The Alphabet Challenge
This week’s challenge is all about words.
Each day you will be presented with a different topic
and your challenge is to name one thing belonging to
that category that starts with each letter of the
alphabet.
E.g. Boys name:

Today you will read an extract from ‘The Boy at the Back of
the Class’ by Onjli Q Rauf.
This is an amazing book from a child’s persepective about
the refugee crisis. It is all about the importance of friendship
and kindness.
Read the text carefully and then answer the questions.
Remember, if you have read it, pretend that this is the first
time you are seeing it. If you haven’t read it and like what
you read, go out and read it!

This week’s focus is all about looking back across all our artwork this year.
You will create an ‘exploding book’ (see video link on how to do this), and you will
then use each section to do a different type of art that we have covered this year. The
inside of your book should be made up of 4 squares and 12 triangles. Each section
should be a different type of art to the one next to it.
