I hope you had a lovely weekend and are looking or to the final week!
Today you will have a go at the first half of an arithmetic paper and
then face another maths problem about ratio and proportion. In
English you will have a reading extract to answer questions on.
In art you will be making an exploding book that s is full up with art we
have done this year.
Have a great week!
The Alphabet Challenge
This week’s challenge is all about words.

Today you will read an extract from ‘The Boy at the Back of
the Class’ by Onjli Q Rauf.
This is an amazing book from a child’s persepective about
the refugee crisis. It is all about the importance of friendship
and kindness.
Read the text carefully and then answer the questions.
Remember, if you have read it, pretend that this is the first
time you are seeing it. If you haven’t read it and like what
you read, go out and read it!

Art Time!
This week’s focus is all about looking back across all our artwork this year.
You will create an ‘exploding book’ (see video link on how to do this), and you will
then use each section to do a different type of art that we have covered this year. The
inside of your book should be made up of 4 squares and 12 triangles. Each section
should be a different type of art to the one next to it.
Look on the next pages for all the things we have done this year.
How to make an exploding book:

This will be your task all week – so take your time!
Art Time!
• Patterns in black and white
• Patterns in colour
• Tree art
• Matisse
• Landscape art
• Hand zentangle
• Self-portraits
• Animals
Reading time!
Grab a book, get
yourself comfy and
read, read, read!
