1. Missed opportunities.....
Don't you hate it when...Someoneyou know passes away and folks are posting it on facebook as if they arebest friends with the individual that past.
We love to jump on the band wagon of social mediawith anygossip that comes along. You barely know the person that has past away and yet you
feel compelled to post howclose you were, the lossyou feel, and even sometimes the way in which they past. Really people, there are individuals out
there that truly knowthe person you are speaking of and don't appreciate you jumping on the death band wagon, so to speak. Same goes with folks
who are in trouble for whatever reason and people feel theneed to post their opinion of that person. You have no clue what is going on, so refrain
from speaking about someone. These comments are hurtful and do nothing to help thesituation, thesepeople have families and those families are
going through enough the last thing they need isto read posts with nasty words. Acouple of yearsago we attempted again to pass a levyat our local
schools, as our superintendent sent out a public notice on social mediaasking for votes. This broughton a storm of comments with somefor and still
some against, many ofthese comments wereon point, however you always have thoseindividuals who have no clue what is going on yet feels the
need to voicean opinion. One woman wrote, "Well we can afford to supply all the kids with Ipads for school work, so we are spending the money we
have in the wrong way." This just ticks me off to no end and it forced meto respond with a simple post stating, "Those Ipads were purchased through
a technologygrant and in order to takethem home you must purchase the$50.00yearly insurance in case something happens. Thisin no way came
out of the schools budget and before you go posting things in the future get your factsstraight." I felt like going on to say how ignorant sheappeared
because letters were sent home several timesexplaining the Ipad situation and where theywere obtained and how. It appears that you do not read the
paperwork that your student brings home or you would not have made that statement. This goesback to the old adage, NEVER MISS AGOOD
OPPORTUNITYTO SHUT YOUR MOUTH......RantOver.....
