I made my students make their thinking visible using visual thinking approach. They began with mind map but they go way beyond mind map. First I gave them sample visual thinking aids but later, they could quite complicated visual thinking aids by themselves. 저는 학생들이 자신의 생각을 드러낼 수 있도록 했고, 그렇게 드러난 생각들로 글을 쓸 수 있도록 지도했습니다. 학생들에게 너희들은 비주얼씽킹을 하고 있다고 이야기하진 않았지만, 자신의 생각이나 주어진 글의 얼개를 뽑아낼 수 있도록 했습니다. 당연히 생각이나 글 속에 나타난 다양한 개념이나 아이디어들의 관계를 밝히고 그것을 시각화 해야 했습니다. 이를 토대로 글을 쓰거나, 발표를 했습니다. 당연히 그를 통해 생각하는 방법이나, 자신의 생각을 드러내는 데 도움을 받았을 것으로 생각합니다. 제가 그러한 것처럼 말이죠.
