Teachers’ views on the quality of resources
Resources in languages
they don’t speak
Scientix has a Translation on Demand
service, and teachers can request one
of the available languages (if CC allows)
Project Reports don’t seem
addressed to teachers
On the other hand, Teachers agree
they prefer written reports instead of
video, to search fast the content they
are interested and avoid the rest of the
document
Some resources are only
one page long and too
simple
This gives freedom to the teacher to
use it without modifying it and if they
want to connect them they can find
other resources that explain what to
do with each of the sheets

Teachers’ views on the quality of resources
There is no need on handcrafts and
hands-on experiments to use ICT
Then, ICT could be used to present the
activity, demonstrational videos or
present results
Teachers prefer “ready to use”
teaching materials, with lesson
plans and activities
Teachers’ lack of time has been
reported in many different occasions
Evaluating resources has helped our teachers to:
• Learn new ways of teaching
• Discover new teaching materials to use in their classes
• Discover new projects on STEM education they didn’t know before
• Be interested about the results and the different incomes from the
different projects

Scientix Resources Awards
 Up to four resources awarded
 Awarded resources: promoted on the Scientix
portal, newsletters, at Scientix events and during
the media campaigns.
 Winners: two per awarded resources invited to
different face to face events organized by Scientix
