mlearning tools
Problems with ICT integration in schools:
- Cost
- Power source
- Controlling internet access
- Average teacher does not have time to learn new technology
- Equipment outdates before next week
4. My personal vision of the classroom in the near future:
Boogie Board RIP (or something like it)
- eWriter
- Cannot download ANYTHING (both pro and con)
- Two buttons, save and erase
- Doesn’t out date
eReader
- Load textbooks and worksheets
- Low power usage (battery lasts one to two months)
- Free text books are available on internet for South African syllabus!
- Same eReader can be used for years making it far cheaper than buying
textbooks
Phones to be used as diaries and
access to internet
