clearance In / Out , Custom . Now I'm hired for BP-Egypt as Shipping Logistic Coordinator , Shipments & Equipments
Customs Clearance In / Out via Air , Sea and Road ]
- A good understanding of moving Personnel and Freight by air, sea & road and the legislation affecting these
types of movements.
- Knowledge of both Customs & Excise and Export/Import legislation in the country of operation.
- Coordination of Local & Global Freight Forwarding.
- Tracking & Expediting of Import & Export Shipments.
- Arrange Logistics Plans and associated Logistics documentation
- Communication with vessel and arranging CTM
- Responsible for ensuring (coordination of) delivery and receipt of materials in any area the project will be
operating (Receipt, Storage & Inventory).
- Preparation for Vessel Mobilisations / Demob. Identification of Equipment/Cargo, Rigging & Lifting Equipment
and Transportation to appropriate quayside.
- Coordinating & attending load-outs, ensuring items are correctly manifested on/off the Vessels and support
services (e.g. Sea Fastening & Scaffolding Teams) are available as required.
- Ensuring that all Vessel Clearances & Port Calls are organised with necessary clearances in place for
Standby/Mooring.
- Assisting in logistical activities relating to the provision of food / fuel and water with local agent .
- Assisting with the delivery of spare parts etc.
- Knowledge of STCW 95/ 87 according to minimum safe manning .
- Manifests / Embarkation & Disembarkation by crew boat or helicopters .
- Coordinating meet and greets in A/P & arranging ground transportation
- Proven management skills and obtained a degree or equivalent higher education.
- A team leader and team worker with interpersonal as well as organisational skills.
- Good educational background is essential, higher education desirable.
- Experienced operationally and should have a good all-round knowledge of the subsea industry and its working
practices.
- Good experience with offshore construction operations, some of which in a supervisory position.
- Good experience for all-round background in project logistics covering freight forwarding, vessel management,
ships agency and crew change.
