C. Digital Photography
Digital photography uses electronic sensor of light or other electromagnetic energy to
capture an image which is stored and digitized to a computer for digital processing or
digital printing. Digital photographs are printed, stored, manipulated, transmitted,
displayed, and archived using digital computer techniques, without any chemical
processing.
The process involve the use of cameras, computers, and other tools and equipment.
Some of these are computer manipulation, light setting, digital ICE or digital image
correction and enhancement, digital printing, and digital circulation.
Photo retouching is a type of manipulation, used in modeling and acting industries where
photos are retouched to correct or perfect shots, with refinement, such as removing
blemishes or moles, brightening eyes, whitening teeth, and smoothing wrinkles. Common
types of photo retouching include lighting filters, contrast enhancement, brightness,
sharpness, and various other tuning adjustments. Professionals who manipulate images
are referred to as digital artists, graphic artist, graphic designers, and photo editors.

D. Digital Paintings and ImagingVideos-TV and Film
Digital painting is an emerging art form wherein artists create art objects digitally. It
also refers to a technique in making digital art using the computer. Digital painters use
painting techniques to create the digital painting directly on the computer, using a digitize
tablet and stylus, and software. Digital painting programs try to mimic the use of physical
media through various brushes and pain effects that are digitally styled to represent the
traditional style like oils, acrylics, pastels, charcoal, pen, and even media such as airbrushing.
Digital Video and Imaging
Video is an electronic medium for the recording, copying, playback, broadcasting,
and display of moving visual media. Videos greatly vary in the resolution of the display and
refresh rate. They can be carried on a variety of media, including radio broadcast, tapes,
DVDs, computer files, and so forth. Some examples of digital video content are TV shows and
films.

by Nutting Associates introduced in 1971. Whereas, the first successful
