whether they're looking for you on
Search, Maps or Google+.
I recently claim the Google My Business
listing for “Welsh Machinery Sales” who
are a machine tool dealer located in
Mentor, Ohio.
Here’s what I discovered
After claiming the account, its branded desktop search result looked
different. These results (marked in red) appeared almost instantly after I
claimed & verified the listing.
New info appeared on the right side of a branded
search.
Google Profile / Maps
Google Reviews: more reviews will help your
business show higher in a local non-branded
search.
Google + most recent post
From the dashboard you can
post to your:
Google Plus account
view local traffic
view website traffic
manage reviews
I was able to add
many photos to the
business listing.
When a branded search
is done from a smart
phone, the following info
will show up.
These links made it easy to contact the
business right from the phone.
Google Maps
When a browser searches for Welsh Machinery Sales in
Google Maps, the company contact info, & map shows
up.
Google Plus Page is similar to a FaceBook
Fan Page.
Claiming your Google My Business
listing is a great new source for potential
users to reach your business.

  • 3. I recently claim the Google My Business listing for “Welsh Machinery Sales” who are a machine tool dealer located in Mentor, Ohio. Here’s what I discovered
  • 4. After claiming the account, its branded desktop search result looked different. These results (marked in red) appeared almost instantly after I claimed & verified the listing.
