4. GOLDEN AGES OF TELEVISION
 1st Golden Age
 Lasted from 1952-1960
 TVs aired in black & white
 Radio and television shared shows
 TV is used for family entertainment
 2nd Golden Age
 1960-1980
 TV is in color
 TV broadcasts simple shows that appeal to a large
audience

5. COLOR TV IS BORN
 In1929 the 1st color broadcast test occurs
on television
 FCC adopts color broadcasting from RCA
network
 Color television become popular and are
sold in large quantities
 By 1972, all broadcasting in the US is in
color

Demand, and through subscriptions like Netflix
and Hulu
